The LadiesToolKit.com site is about tools for women or DIY beginners who want to be involved in doing something for themselves, rather than depending on someone else to do something for them, whether that is putting up a picture or shelf, building a cupboard or a garden shed or constructing something from a flatpack. It is aimed at beginners who want to do something, without having it done for them and obtaining the right tools for the job.
I have been working with tools since I was a child following my dad around and holding the ladder for my uncle (no health and safety in those days!). I have progressed from wobbly sawing to screwdrivers, drills, hammers, straight edges, etc and a tool box to keep them in that I keep padlocked to avoid my husband and sons borrowing them!
